The Team Associated RC10 has always been an iconic buggy in the world of RC racing. With the recent release of the 40th Anniversary kit, it’s no surprise these classic cars are popping up everywhere once again.
As with any popular RC model, fans love to personalise their kits. From subtle tweaks to full-on custom builds, the RC10 has seen it all. But we think we've come across a real first for this old-school legend.
Dave Hartry has added a bold new twist to his RC10 – and it's something you'd expect to see racing around in a nightclub! He’s named it the "Glow in the Dark RC10", and it’s exactly what it sounds like.
Dave shared his unique buggy on the Iconic RC Facebook group, showing it off under a black light. With fluorescent paint covering both the body and wheels, the result is a seriously eye-catching look. It glows brightly under UV light, making it stand out in style. We think it would be right at home on one of the neon glow tracks we’ve featured in the past – maybe even as its own race class!
His post quickly picked up plenty of likes – no surprise, really, considering how popular the RC10 is and how cool this version looks.
So what do you think?
Is this a clever and fun take on a classic car – or does it mess with its legendary status?
